Organizational Behavior

Organizational Development typically:

  • is based on a diagnosis that is shared by most of the team members
  • is a long-range effort to introduce a desired  planned change
  • has the goal of increasing organizational effectiveness
  • utilizes various strategies to present interventions into the organization to facilitate growth, learning and appropriate risk taking

Organizations are in fact considerably more complex than they appear at first sight. The roles of managers, employees, customers, vendors and machines cannot be so easily analyzed and understood. The truth is an organization possesses a complex design of interrelationships and interdependencies between people and processes. A complex process of adjustment is constantly taking place with people in conflict with what is a comfortable behavior and what is an expected behavior.

If the organization is to gain the most leverage from its collection of human assets (development of skills and talent recognition) and the systems of process and control then knowledge of management and employee traits are essential.

Our focus is to identify these traits in terms of: Strengths, Reactions to Pressure Situations, Job Environment, Decision-Making, Communication, Tries to Avoid and Ideal Supervisor. Then we map how people believe they should behave and how they want to behave. The encompassing term is their style.

Styles can be further explained as:

  • Administrative Style
  • Customer Service Style
  • Entrepreneurial Style
  • Information Technology Style
  • Leadership Style
  • Management Style
  • Project Style
  • Sales Style
  • Team Style
  • Training Style
  • 360° Feedback

The organization will be able to enhance growth, address conflict issues, develop human resource talent and arm themselves to face any new challenge.

"Disc Analysis" (displayed below) is one of several instruments we also employ to measure Organizational Behavior. When coupled with AQ/RX and EP, we are able to deliver powerful and insightful analysis to help an organization achieve its goals.
