Organizational Behavior Model©

This model strives for a sense of balance between and among the other circles which include:

  • Clearly identifying the Purpose of the organization and indicating what we are trying to accomplish
  • That the Development is such that we are all pulling in the same direction
  • Ensure that Recognition and consequences are appropriate and sufficient
  • That Financial Oversight identifies the problem costs and hidden opportunities
  • Cultivating a Culture that embraces change.
  • A conscious effort by Leadership to remain focused and aware.

The real purpose of the principle is to cultivate an organization much like cultivating crops. It is a continuous process of preparing, nurturing, promoting development, controlling growth, and preparing for the future.

The principle’s mechanics dictates that the five targets will continue to pop up at varying speeds and random patterns.  The effectiveness of the Leadership function in addressing the elusive targets depends on the harmony between the organization’s ability to communicate clearly and the adaptation by its leadership.  Any weakness in the harmony will greatly diminish the effect.

If any of the circles falter there will be a natural tendency for the organization to display Protective Behaviors where because of Fear the possibility of Growth will become secondary to a FIX MODE mentality with missed opportunities the outcome.

Conversely if the circles maintain a sense of balance then the organization will display Constructive Behaviors where Fear will give way to Confidence resulting in a  Growth Mode mentality.
